Hey WT,

I stream a lot both at work and during groks and will occasionally stream a show several times. I find that streaming is quite useful now that my primary way of acquiring shows is bt. Its nice to be able to listen to one before dedicating so much memory and effort (i expand, label and then make mp3s for ipod listening for shows that i acquire in shn or flac) for a single show. This is especially true with new releases now that they show up here so soon after release. I still acquire shows but am pretty content with streaming music right now.

Cool. Yeah, if I knew what I was doing, it would be sorta special to have a laptop hooked up to my stereo, and just "dial in/stream" shows on a regular basis and blast them thru the system. As it is, when I sample a show, I just get a glimpse thru my little PC and then work on the kindness of forumites to obtain it...though having amassed a huge karmic debt, I have thru this approach more or less rec'd all the shows of "my" period (ie, 68-71), and don't do much else besides "talk about it" and listen to it (ie, not working on expanding the time period other than within 71 [barely 72] that I am unfamiliar with) or best of all, awaiting the next commercial release (which of late, helped immensely with 71).
